Hikes for Kids- Fair Hill Area B Red Loop Trail
The Red Loop Trail is one of our favorite hikes for kids at Fair Hill. It’s a 2.7 mile easy trail with some elevation & plenty of interesting elements for the kids to explore. There’s a couple of creek crossings, but don’t worry about getting your feet wet if you don’t want to. They kindly put round cement stepping “stones” through the creeks, so you can hop across the water without getting your toes in the water.
Summer hikes: we usually just go straight to the larger creek crossing. Bearing left from the split, it’s a little short of a mile. We do this as an out & back with plenty of time spent playing in the creek.

Winter hikes: we usually break right at the split and do the whole loop.
This trail is popular and we typically meet other hikers as well as horses out on a trail ride. The trail brazes are well marked.
